Pakistan: 22 wind energy projects of 50 MW each at different stages of development

Around 22 wind energy projects of 50 MW each are at different stages of development which upon their completion would help meet energy requirements and achieve development goals. Out of these, 11 developers have so far completed their feasibility studies. Six independent power producers have also acquired generation license from National Electric Power Regulatory Authority, three have been awarded tariff and three IPPs are negotiating energy purchase agreements and implementation agreements with concerned authorities.  Read full story...
